NeedsLab (니즈랩) is a software studio in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. It builds websites, apps and business systems for clients, and develops open-source desktop apps that make AI tools easier to set up.
NeedsLab was founded in August 2025 by Yongbeom Gwon. The studio takes client projects from scoping and design through development and deployment, with the founder working directly on each one.
Since August 2025, NeedsLab has signed 30+ client contracts with 20+ clients, including companies outside Korea. Alongside client work, it builds and publishes its own open-source desktop apps.

A desktop installer for OpenClaw, a third-party open-source AI agent. It sets up the prerequisites (WSL on Windows, Node.js) and OpenClaw, then guides the user through API key setup and Telegram bot connection without a terminal.
A desktop app for installing AI coding tools, signing in and checking that they work, without a terminal.

Since August 2025, 1,000+ commits across NeedsLab’s product and client repositories carry a “Co-Authored-By: Claude” trailer. Agent instructions (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md) are kept in the repositories next to the code, including EasyClaw and Easy Harness.
Claude CodeEasyClaw uses Anthropic as its default model provider. Easy Harness installs and manages Claude Code. ttobak (opens in a new tab), an open-source engine that rewrites Korean public documents in plain language, includes an Anthropic provider.
